Yeehaw!
It's 6:10 pm and I'm half in the bag. The reason? I'm going bowling tonight. Bowling! I haven't been bowling in freaking forever. The combination of bowling and meeting new people makes my body cry for alcohol. Also, it makes me wish Red was here. I bet my fingers are now too fat to fit in that custom-drilled ball of mine....the last surviving symbol of a love that is no more. We shall soon find out.
My probationary period at work has ended. I am now able to flex, and flex I will. Along with flex time comes the opportunity to learn some new shit. Plus, I'm moving into a new, much roomier, cube. Time to redecorate!
Red and I have decided to give the Eagan Crowne Plaza a try this Friday night. Oh Lordy, I'm excited. Those are my old stomping grounds. My first job in the cities was located right next to that sweet hotel. It's going to be like "old home week." I've heard a lot of people use that expression and never really understood it. It seems to fit here though. OLD HOME WEEK, BITCHES!
As part of old home week, we're planning to spend a little time with Rob and Tom. I try my hardest to be mad at Rob for all the rotten drama he's caused, but then he sends me emails that make me snort and I just can't. No matter how hard I try, I can't hate that big mofo. On a sadder note, I think this will upset Gretchen, who is babysitting all weekend, and also who has told me that she's fine with me still seeing them, though I don't believe for a minute that she actually means it. Make it stop! Just make the drama stop!
If it doesn't upset Gretchen (fingers crossed), I believe she'll be paying me a visit the weekend of April 22nd. Red, mark it on your calendar just in case. Aurora, you too. I think Yvonne, that crazy old hag at the Radisson, misses us. I'm dying to hear more about the jewelry she got for being a "good girl" when her kidneys failed.
Oh yeah, after bowling, we're going to Grizzlies. I've only been there twice, once with Mike and Amanda, and once with Tom. One other time Aurora invited me, but I was a big hairy loser, already in bed. I hear they rock the trivia though. AND. Because Christina graduated from Tower as well, I can say, "Mexico? Where's Mexico? They didn't teach us that bit of completely basic, elementary knowledge in Tower," and she can vouch for me.

OMG!! I chatted with Ang tonight and she was sounding relaxed!!!! Kinda gives one a warm a fuzzy feeling inside...
Can I come play with you and Amanda this weekend?
And... I'm so glad that Lucy is doing well!
P.S. I meant "play" in a completely non-sexual manner.
I'm not sure we want you if it's non-sexual...
But we do, really! I can't stay mad at you. Bring pictures, you little Latina hottie!
