Wait...are you telling me you're older than 25?

I've decided to share some pictures (mostly of Red, because she's 22 now) of the small, intimate birthday celebration on Saturday night. If you're here because you can't get enough of my deep, insightful thoughts, I apologize for disappointing you.

The birthday girl took this picture of Chuck stocking the fridge with (gasp!) foreign beer during the late afternoon hours. He just recently discovered the joy of flip flops. Aren't they cute?! They have itty bitty palm trees on them.

This is, without a doubt, the best picture ever taken of Red and Deerin. I hope his mom never gets wind of me saying that because I know she thinks that she took the best picture of them ever. She sent a copy to mom and, though it's very cute, it can't compete with these cheesy grins. Oh, and I LOVE his shirt.

Here's a nice picture of Red with her hotel colleague, Lindsay. If I hadn't just told you this was taken on Saturday, I bet you wouldn't have been able to guess the season. I commend Red for not sweating like a whore in church while wearing a black sweater in July. Aren't her Pippi Longstocking piggybraids cute?!

Here is the pre-beer drinking contest picture. I don't know why we had them lined up against the wall like that. Maybe so the rest of us could act as judges? Psht, like that was necessary. We all knew Red was going to kick ass and take names. Unfortunately, the only action shot of the contest is crap. Drunk operator error.

This is Red with one of our favorite drinking buddies. Anna is only 5'1" so we had a good giggle about the fact that she's towering over Red in this shot. Yes. We are really that easily amused. Anna sold me some Mary Kay products that night. I can't wait to find out what I bought.

Well, boys and girlies, that's all for now. It wasn't our best gathering, but nobody died. I think (hope!) everyone had at least a decent time. The bits and pieces I can remember were knee-slapping good (again with the easily amused thing.) More pictures will be developed in the near future, so expect to see the coming out cake in the next installment of....this...
