Party Part Deux
Ahh, back to the cities. Who would have ever guessed that would be a relief for me? I think it's because I always dread that long drive so much that it feels incredible to reach my final destination. I made a last minute decision on Friday to head to Tower for the weekend. That trip was slated for next weekend but I realized on Thursday night that I have Twins tickets for next weekend. Yeah, stupid. Maybe I should get a calendar.
Tower was nice. I did nothing but lie around, watch tv, and play board games. What does inclement mean? Easy...the guy who Bridget marries someday will be inclement. Apples to apples...I highly recommend it. In fact, I highly recommend it for next weekend at my house. I'm hooked.
As promised, here are more pictures of Red's birthday party, because I know you've been waiting for them.
Here we are, the host and hostess with the most. The most what, you may wonder. The most booze in our systems? The most mental problems? The most pale skin? All of the above and whatever else you come up with.
Red with her happy birthday/congratulations-on-publicly-admitting-you-prefer-beaver-and-I'm-not-talking-about-the-mail-delivering-kind cake. She looks so young...like there should be seven candles on that cheerful marble cake.

Chelsea, Red, and Kelly--all former UMD students, all cute, all smiley, and all relatively sober. We'll try harder next time.

My sister-in-law and me. She's not really my sister-in-law but we decided that term is easier in everyday conversation than spitting out "my boyfriend's brother's girlfriend" so we're jumping the gun and going with it. She ended up in at least 75% of the pictures that night. She's just so photogenic.
Kelly with her American beer...that delicious brew that makes absolutely no hissing sound when the can is opened and requires some chewing when you get to the bottom. Or so I've been told. Maybe Kelly can confirm that for me.

Introducing my extra helpful marriage counseling neighbor, Ross, and his lovely girlfriend. Aren't those speakers attractive? Gosh, I'm a lucky girl.

Here I am with Kelly and the birthday girl. Whoever took this picture obviously said something that Red and I found really funny. We have the exact same sense of humor. I bet it was a sexual comment...
Look at this cute couple. Anna was complaining that she doesn't have any good pictures of she and Landis together. If this isn't adorable, I don't know what is. She'll be so excited to hear that there's a copy of it just waiting for her in my bedroom.
I absolutely love this picture of Chuck's coworker with Anna. Does he not look like he belongs in a Ripley's Believe it or Not museum? World's tallest man... See, I told you she's in a lot of these pictures.
Ross again, this time acting as the party police, re-enacting the original Kelly carding. I wonder if he remembers this one...

Last but not least, this is what happens when you forget something at our house. Speaking of which, does anybody want a camera?
