I neeeed Rice Krispie bars
The county accounting test was so much harder than I expected it to be. My goodness. It was such a bizarre experience. I was sitting in Duluth, in a classroom, surrounded by calculators, #2 pencils, and recent college graduates (including the old smelly guy who used to follow me around UMD like a lost puppy and sat next to me in all of the classes we had together which is, I'm sure, why I never went). It felt so much like I was back in college, except that I usually knew the answers in college. It was fun though. Am I sick? I actually enjoy a good, challenging multiple choice exam...especially when it makes absolutely no difference whether or not I pass. This time I already have a job! Of course, I have always been pretty competitive academically, so I'm a wee bit excited to get my results and rank....no sooner than 4 weeks from now.
Overall, the day was nothing but fun. My dad drove down to hang out with me and we just farted around all afternoon. We had lunch, we had ice cream, we walked part of the lakewalk, we went shopping, we went bum (not ass) watching on 1st St. I don't think dad will ever stop spoiling me. He had me follow him downtown, showed me where to park, and drove me to the test site. Then, he picked me up after the test and drove me the block and a half back to my car. How funny is that?!
My dad is quite possibly the coolest person I know. I wish I had a picture of him scanned so I could post it here now. I don't, so here I am with Lenni (spelled with an i because he's such a diva.) Sometime when I write about Len, I'll post a picture of my dad.

Oh, and Alexis....if you're reading this and you really want to go to that Twins game, we're so on. Red and I are delighted that you're interested...and not just because you'll drive downtown...because you're so darn likable!

You must tell me...HOW did you tame that lemur?
I really would like to go to the Twins game; I wasn't kidding about that, and I don't mind driving one bit. Going to a game with you and Red would be great!
Are you really moving back up north?
That's awesome. Definitely plan on going to the game that Sunday then. We'll work out the details one of these days. I forgot all about the game and planned a trip to Tower that weekend...DUMB. I'll just drive back down early though. Can't miss the Twins vs. the Red Sox! It will be fun.
