A new version of blogger? Screw that. If it requires any effort whatsoever, I'm not interested. Just like everything else in life.
We had a huge mofo storm on Thursday, which resulted in at least 18 inches of snow and a four-day weekend for this bitch. In those four days I did absolutely nothing. I hardly even left the apartment. In fact, I just spent the last hour and a half drinking beer alone and dancing (I use that term very loosely) around my bedroom in my underwear. And now I'm blogging. Bored? Naaaah...
After nearly three whole days of nothingness, I couldn't stand being cooped up inside anymore so I headed to the mall to relieve myself of the boredom that brought tears to my eyes. Ahh. My best hobby...spending money completely unnecessarily. Unfortunately, everybody else in the tri-state area decided to do some shopping as well...every last one of them at Miller Hill Mall. Regardless, I picked up some good stuff. I'm thinking of putting a pair of Rocket Dogs into my monthly budget. I want them all.
Do you know what else I want? To beat the hell out of the people that live above me. They have to have a dog up there. A big one. Possibly several big dogs. Several big illegal dogs who chase tennis balls around the apartment all day long. Do you know what that sounds like? Frustration. I wish they'd get rid of the dog and just go back to having lots and lots of loud sex.
Everybody who might read this probably already knows, but this is worth repeating. I'm going to be an aunt in September! The whole fam damily is more than a little excited about this and I cannot wait to see Mike in action as a father. I wonder if he'll grow up at all himself. I sort of doubt it. My life is going to be a whole lot happier when they find out the sex of the baby. I can't seem to go shopping without popping into Baby Gap or browsing the eeb section at Target. It's damn near killing me to not buy anything. I've been waiting a long time for a niece or nephew. NEED TO START SPOILING ASAP.
Next weekend Tuna and hopefully Red are coming to Duluth. If that's not a recipe for disaster, I don't know what is. So, you know, stay tuned. I promise I'll get around to blogging about it by mid-summer.
