Look away.

This post is for me. Five or ten years from now, when I'm feeling nostalgic and reading through my archives, this will make me smile. Here he is. The boy I voted for over and over again last night, not because he was the most talented performer, but because he is the most beautiful seventeen year old boy that I have ever seen and I couldn't bear the thought of never seeing that radiant smile again. Now, no worries. He may have been sent packing tonight (damn you, America!), but I've immortalized young David Radford through my blog.

I think Red summed it up well this morning when she sent me an email, correctly predicting which four contestants would be ousted (good job, Red...was one a woman as well as one a man?). She prophesized that David would be going home, followed by, "I just wish he was coming home to me." Sigh...

For the record, I am still planning on marrying Taylor Hicks.
