Breaking up is SO EASY to do!

One week from now, I will be moved out of this house for good. One week from now, I will be starting my new life in Duluth. Since the moment we broke up, I've dreaded leaving Chuck. He's been such a huge part of my life for the last two years that I couldn't imagine life without him.

Today....

I CAN'T WAIT FOR LIFE WITHOUT HIM! What an asshole! I'm delighted that we've decided to not be friends and not keep in touch whatsoever. Even in our last couple of weeks together, he can't resist lying to me...and it's about the dumbest stuff.

He tells me no, his brother is not moving in with him. His brother tells me yes, he is...immediately. Better yet, his brother is excited about the move because he can finally break up with his sweet, adorable girlfriend when he's no longer living under her mother's roof. This family is fucked up. His siblings will leech off of him until the day he dies. I hope someday he parents them into mature, responsible adults rather than catering to their every desire. If they continue on the path they're on, they're going to do nothing with their lives. I'm glad we're never going to talk again because I'd hate to have to give him the big "told you so!" when every girl he ever dates breaks up with him because his siblings are neurotic, controlling parasites.

Yes Chuck, I've made out with boys since the breakup. Yes, I've done more than make out. Yes, it was really lots of fun. Yes, I will continue to have my fun, maybe even before I move out on Saturday. Yes, I'm glad I'm single. No, I will not miss you.

Okay, I think the anger is subsiding....

The weekend at home was nice. I caught a yucky cold which doesn't make me happy but, other than that, life was good. It was nice to see all of Red's college friends for another camp shack and I sincerely enjoyed my position in the paparazzi. I can't believe I left before they started peeing outside though. That might be grounds for dismissal.
